Selmer-Maccaferri is best known as the Django Reinhardt’s favorite guitar.

A closer look at Django’s Selmer 503 considered the “holy grail” by many players. I see quite a lot of fret wear… Pretty cool to get that up and personal with the great Django’s axe!

Plastic Guitars designed by Mario Maccaferri from the 1950s are quite collectible… sound pretty decent too! Jeff Beck owns one. Mario Maccaferri was quite the innovator. Mario Maccaferri also made some plastic violins and ukuleles.
