Similar to the model Gene Vincent and the Blue Caps played. Believe it or not Jeff Beck has a vintage one of these in his collection as he was heavily influenced by Gene Vincent and the Blue Caps, especially Cliff Gallup.

Gretsch has re-released this model, but unfortunately the newer ones lack the quality that this one has. They decided to make a less expensive guitar with the new ones that have a similar appearance.

Being a jumbo sized acoustic the sound is pretty big as well.
