Mr Black Effects, a Portland Oregon based company, is part of growing market of boutique builders. The Mr. Black DeluxePlus Plus Limited-run featuring Harmonic Vibrato pedal is different than their original Mr. Black Deluxe Plus. The Mr. Black DeluxePlus Plus pedal features a harmonic vibrato that instead of being a tremolo for the entire volume, is features a real harmonic-vibrato pedal that raises and lowers the levels of the low and high ends of the guitar’s frequency spectrum creating shimmering, rolling highs and billowing, undulating lows. Unfortunately this great pedal was discontinued making them hard to fine. Both versions of the Mr. Black Deluxe pedal also have a fabulous reverb. Nice to have both a great sounding reverb and harmonic-vibrato effect in one small pedal.
