DOD Stereo Chorus FX65
SOLD
This is a well loved pedal and now vintage DOD Stereo Chorus FX65 can produce a gritty Chorus that allows for adjusting delay time. John Frusciante, the guitarist of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, has had one these on his pedalboard for a long time. Can sometimes sound like a broken Boss CE-1. This one was picked up used. Nice older pedal.
The addition of a time knob gives you a little more control over the FX65 than you would find on a standard chorus. It’s a simple plug and play pedal that sounds fantastic, and they have survived for a while so pretty reliable. I heard Andy Martin playing one of these and loved what he did with it.
The DOD Stereo Chorus FX65’s first series was initially produced in 1985 as an improvement upon DOD’s beginner FX60 Stereo Chorus. Its analog chorus, using an MN3007 BBD chip, is controlled using Speed, Delay Time, and Depth knobs to thicken up your tone. Two output jacks give you great, subtle stereo chorus sound.
Runs off an 11 volt DC power supply (odd one) or a 9 volt battery. Luckily for me the one I bought included the DOD power supply.
