Electro-Harmonix Nano POG
Electro-Harmonix Nano POG
POG – Polyphonic Octave Generator which gives you and octave down and octave up to your guitars sound and since it is Polyphonic you can play chords and not just single notes.
The smallest member of the Electro-Harmonix POG family features a smaller footprint that the Micro POG, but same sounds. Most pedalboards are crowded and real estate is hard fought. Especially for an effect that many of us will only use a few times in a given session. If you are seeking infinite control the Electro-Harmonix POG 2 offers this with huge tweak ability. Simpler minded people like myself like the simplicity of the Micro POG and love the size of the Nano POG. Anyway, it is a fun pedal.
The Electro-Harmonix Nano POG provides impeccable tracking and sound. Separate level controls for dry, sub octave and octave up plus an extra Dry out and silent footswitching provide the perfect formula for this compact pedal. I especially like getting the faux Wes Montgomery octave solo sound.

CONTROLS
DRY Knob – Controls the output volume of the DRY signal at the EFFECT OUT jack. The DRY signal is the signal present at the INPUT jack. As this knob is turned clockwise, the volume of the DRY signal at the EFFECT OUT Jack increases.
SUB OCTAVE Knob – Controls the output volume of the SUB OCTAVE signal. The SUB OCTAVE signal is one octave below the original input signal, or half the frequency. As this knob is rotated clockwise, the volume of the SUB OCTAVE signal increases.
OCTAVE UP Knob – Controls the output volume of the OCTAVE UP signal. The OCTAVE UP signal is one octave above the original input signal, or twice the frequency. The volume of the OCTAVE UP signal increases as this knob is rotated clockwise.
FOOTSWITCH and LED – The footswitch selects whether the NANO POG is engaged or in buffered bypass mode. When the effect is engaged, the LED is lit.
INPUT Jack – This ¼” jack is the audio input for the NANO POG. The input impedance is 2M Ohm.
EFFECT OUT Jack – This ¼” jack outputs the NANO POG effect. The output impedance at this jack is 700 Ohm.
DRY OUT Jack – This ¼” jack outputs a buffered version of the input signal. The output impedance at this jack is 500 Ohm. Note: The
DRY Knob does not control the volume at the DRY OUT Jack. DRY OUT is always identical to the input signal, with no change in volume.
9V Power Jack – Although the NANO POG accepts 9V Batteries, EHX supplies your NANO POG with an Electro-Harmonix 9.6DC-200 power supply. Plug the output of the supplied AC adapter into the 9V power jack located at the top of the NANO POG. The NANO POG draws 25mA at 9VDC with a center negative plug.
