Furch Pioneer EM Cutaway is a small body guitar that is great for traveling or couch! Sounds much larger than it looks. Made from all solid tone woods. I played and compared several small body guitars such as the popular Taylor GA Mini, Gretsch Jim Dandy, Martin, Alvarez and several others and found the Furch Pioneer to be what I was looking for. First off it is made from all solid woods and sounded better to my ears.

Playability is great. With the featured “booster sound port” it is a louder guitar than other polar sized guitars I own or have owned. My only complaint is it does not come stock with a pickup so I may add one later on. It does come with a nice soft case for travel.

Furch craftsmanship is awesome and inspiring. Few guitars at this price point including the Taylor GA Mini is built as nice as the Pioneer. This guitar is a keeper. It is a joy to play.

The neck joint features Furch CNR System® Active which makes adjusting action easy. It is designed for dealing with humidity changes. This innovation is on Furch high guitars as well.
