Journey Instruments OF660 Overhead Carbon Fiber – Navy Matte

My first all Carbon Fiber guitar. I wanted a guitar that was indestructible to weather/humidity changes. I have had this one for many months and can say it is a great guitar for travel or playing outdoors. Has a nice sounding passive pickup so you can plugin. Comes with two bone saddles that you can easily swap for a high or low action. The higher one is gray for playing with a slide.

The OF660M Overhead from Journey Instruments was built for travel. Thanks to its patented removable neck system, Journey Instruments’ Overhead travel guitar can be assembled and disassembled in a matter of seconds. It collapses to a size that can be carried-on to most commercial airplanes, and it fits into most overhead bin compartments. The Overhead comes with a travel backpack that includes a TSA-compliant laptop/tablet fold-out panel that can be scanned by airport security without removing the device.

A travel-sized body with full-sized tone
The OF660M Overhead exhibits wedge design with a lower shoulder/bout depth that’s deeper than a dreadnought. It’s this innovative shape that allows such a small instrument to produce such unbelievable volume and projection. This guitar’s offset soundhole maximizes the resonance of its soundboard, while proprietary bracing ensures a gratifying tone with incredible clarity. A bone nut, compensated bone saddle, and ebony bridge pins complete this guitar’s tonal picture.
