Martin LX1 Acoustic Guitar
SOLD!
The Martin LX1 Little Martin Acoustic Guitar is a great small travel or a beginning student guitar. It has a solid Sitka spruce soundboard atop the small, modified 0-14 body to guarantee tight, rich tone. Richlite fretboard and bridge, 23″ scale, Stratabond modified low-oval neck, and Martin’s patented mortise/tenon neck joint. Ping 14:1 tuners. Includes a nice padded gig bag.
I received this as part of a cool promotion being done by Martin. It was included with 10 sets of Lifespan Strings plus the Little Martin LX1 with padded gig bag with my recent purchase of a Martin HD-28. This Little Martin sure is nicer than the Martin Backpacker I once owned.
The Stratabond neck adds some weight to this little guitar, but makes it pretty sturdy for travel and the affects of temperature and humidity changes. Guitar weighs in a 3-lbs 6.5-ozes making it only 1-lb lighter than many full sized Martin acoustic guitars.
